1 Penny Auctions

To take a chance or not?

I think if done properly this can be a huge asset to your success in becoming an eBay Power Seller

First and foremost……

Ebay does not like 1 penny auctions, they see them as merely feedback manipulation.

However, I feel that if you follow these guidelines to the letter, then what worked for me should also work for you.

• The 1 penny books have been written by me

• I list 250 of them in my store as a buy it now of 1 penny

• Now I create the same listing as a regular auction with a starting price of 1 penny and a buy it now of $1.25 or similar

  • On this listing however, the very first paragraph reads:

    • In a hurry? Don’t want to wait for the auction to end? No Problem just visit my Ebay Store(include link here) and get your own copy INSTANTLY for 1 penny

• DO NOT ONLY SELL 1 PENNY EBOOKS, they should be the minority of all your listings

• I have a lot of people that make a purchase and then do not pay the penny, they think its just a penny so whats the harm

  • the harm is if someone buys a penny book and instantly leaves you feedback without going to PayPal to check out and then you return the feedback. Ebay may flag you for feedback manipulation

As i said in the beginning of this section, this is a gray area that eBay is watching closely, if done properly this can definitely get you to your Power Seller status quickly, but you must follow the steps above perfectly.

I don’t know what their magic formula is on why some get suspended and some don’t. But i do know that the steps above have worked flawlessly for me.

One more hint for you….don’t just sell any old book for a penny, sell your own, with your own website links and affiliate links in it, and you will get back what you lose in a penny sale.
