How to get it and keep it

Customer satisfaction needs to be your primary goal. Feedback is what make eBay unique from other businesses. Can you imagine walking in a department store to find a huge sign at the front door with comments from every customer that has ever shopped there.

I always use the old saying, treat others the way I would like to be treated.

I also, do something that is rare among eBook sellers, I offer a refund policy, its obvious why most people don’t do that…..whats keeping someone from buying my book, downloading it and then saying they want a refund. Obviously they can’t return the digital item, they would just make copies of it. But in the many years I have been doing this, I have only had two people do this. Know what I did? I very politely thanked them for the purchase, told them I was sorry that they were not happy and happily refunded their money.

I think a key element is to under promise and over deliver…Your item listing/salespage should list the bare minimum on what they are getting. All of my download pages offer bonuses as a thank you gift for their purchase.

A huge but often controversial method of obtaining feedback rather quickly is with 1 penny auctions. I have used this method myself and i feel that it played an important role in becoming a Power Seller quickly, so I decided to write a separate post on it.
